The Singer-songwriter, vegan and environmentalist has become a farmer! Jason Mraz delights us with his music but his lifestyle deserves a place in The Avocado Society.

 

The American artist has taken a complete turn in his career when he bought an avocado ranch in 2004 in Bonsall, California

He said about his home, “It was kind of an accident. I just wanted to live out in nature. When I realized there were hundreds of avocado trees here, I thought, ‘I can keep this going?”

And that’s what he did. In addition to eating between 3 and 4 avocados per day, he supplies many of the rest to local clients. Vegans eat a lot of avocados typically, but the singer’s farm boasts a 30,000-pound harvest each year.

From success to success, Mraz enjoy one of his tasty guacamole, smoothie and the king of his recipes: the homemade “chocomole”, a healthy chocolate pudding made with avocados. And it cannot go unnoticed by the Avocado Society.
